We're back with another exciting update packed with new features making their way to all FanBase-powered applications.

FanBase? If you missed yesterday’s announcement, you might want to catch up first with the introduction of FanBase - the evolution of XBorg’s Fan App SDK.

Some of the features announced today are already available in early access via our Community App, and will progressively roll out to the various FanBase-powered apps currently live (and the upcoming ones). Let's dive in!

Newsfeed: Content Aggregation Meets Smart Distribution

The Newsfeed is here! This is a game-changer for how apps handle content. Here's what it brings to the table:

First, it aggregates content from multiple platforms automatically. No more forcing users to complete daily quests just to drive engagement - the Newsfeed naturally encourages interaction by bringing the best content to one place.

Second, it's incredibly powerful for gating content. Want to give Premium Members exclusive access? Done. Want to reward token holders with behind-the-scenes content? Easy. Own rare wearables? Here's your VIP pass to pro player vlogs.

Esports teams are already planning some seriously exclusive content drops through this feature. We're talking behind-the-scenes footage, pro player insights, exclusive announcements - the kind of content that makes being a superfan worthwhile.

Premium Subscriptions: Taking Fan Loyalty to the Next Level

This is a big one. Premium subscriptions are now live, marking a huge milestone for FanBase. Each app can now offer exclusive, premium experiences to their most dedicated fans.

Here's the beautiful part: each organisation gets to define what "premium" means for their community. Want to offer governance rights? Go for it. Exclusive tournaments with massive prize pools? Absolutely. Special Discord roles and early access to merchandise? You got it.

For esports teams and gaming brands we work with, this opens up entirely new ways to reward their most supportive fans while creating sustainable revenue streams. It's a win-win that we're incredibly excited about.

Burning Wearables: Turn Your Inventory Into Points

All those wearables sitting in your inventory just became a lot more useful. Users can now burn unwanted wearables for spendable currency that can be used to:

• Buy shop rewards
• Purchase lootboxes
• Or just stack up for future use

This adds a whole new utility layer to wearables. They're no longer just collectibles - they're now a key part of how users accumulate resources and customise their experience. Combined with our lootbox system, it creates a really satisfying gamification loop.

Looking ahead, we're working to push the utility of wearables further with:

• Marketplace trading for peer-to-peer item exchanges
• Item forging where you can merge items (imagine combining two common items to create one rare item)

With these features on the horizon, now might be the perfect time to start building that inventory!

On-Chain Quests & New Blockchain Integrations

What about web3? FanBase now supports on-chain quests that can verify and reward users based on their blockchain activity:

• Token-gated quests: Reward users who hold specific amounts of tokens
• NFT verification: Create exclusive experiences for NFT collectors
• Acquisition tracking: Incentivise users to acquire tokens or NFTs

With Team Liquid building on Sui and the recent Ninjas in Pyjamas x Chiliz announcement, we've integrated support for the Chiliz blockchain alongside our existing integrations.

But here's where it gets really interesting - this also serves as a powerful gating mechanism. Want to make your Governance section only accessible to users holding 1,000+ tokens? Done. Want to create VIP areas for NFT holders? Simple. The possibilities are endless.

While not visible to end users, our team has been working hard to make life easier for organisations managing their apps. Our Admin Panel - where all the magic happens behind the scenes - just got a serious AI upgrade.

Starting today, content translation is completely automated. When teams like Team Liquid want to expand into new markets, the app automatically translates into any supported language. No more manual translation work, just instant global reach.

But this is just the beginning. We're building toward a future where AI handles:

• Quest creation and optimisation
• Personalised content recommendations
• Dynamic difficulty and rewards adjustments

The end goal? Making every user's experience feel uniquely tailored to them.
